Our program is free to people who:
Live in Pierce County* and who are pregnant or are the caregivers of children between the ages of 0 and three.
*Pierce County Parents as Teachers serves most of Pierce County, though some areas have specific requirements. To determine eligibility please contact us.
Families who live within Tacoma Public, Clover Park, Chief Lechi, and Franklin-Pierce school districts.
Children enrolled in our program are:
Healthier, more advanced in all areas of development, and are better prepared for kindergarten.
Caregivers enrolled in our program are:
More confident in their role, better connected to their child, and have an increased awareness of, and are more involved in their child's development.
